Sketch stuff

Here’s a scrapbook LO I made the other day. The photo is a new one of me and my son, Oliver and I think it is such a sweet one that I wanted to do something with it right away. I saw a sketch on Creative Scrappers and although it was from July (#10), I knew I wanted to use it.

I have a ton of BasicGrey papers (although, if you ask me, you can never have enough) and I wanted to use up these Mellow papers to make space for some new stuff I bought. The flowers are from Prima, the flourish stamp is from Inque Boutique and the brad is from Reprint. The chipboard letters are from Cosmo Cricket. The title is These Moments and the journaling says: These are the moments I want to remember. The hugs, kisses, laughter and play.

Here’s a card I made last night. I need a masculine birtday card and I loved Laura’s sketch #6 on 2 sketches 4 you. Here’s my take on the sketch.

The papers are from Dejá view’s Timeless collection and BasicGrey’s Periphery collection. Love, love, love these papers. The ribbon is a purchase from our local market place. The sentiment is stamped with Rangers walnut stain distress ink and the stamp is from Reprint. The edges are inked with walnut stain. The colours are a little off here, IRL they are more vibrant.
