I finished a LO for the sketch challenge on Creative Scrappers. Somehow I’m not happy with it, but I can’t pinpoint to what is wrong. So I’ll just be done with it and move on to the next project. I do love these pics of my hubby and son, though. They had such a sweet [...]

I played along with this week’s sketch challenge over on Splitcoast. Wednesday was an insanely busy day (check out my other blog for more details, if you’re curious! ), but all I could think about in the evening, after both kids were tucked into bed, was to sit down and make a card. This is [...]

Here are some cards I made awhile back. The first is a birthday card and in hindsight I think it’s a tad too simple. The hubby wrinkled his nose at the earthy colours and asked if I couldn’t afford to use paper that wasn’t torn at the edges. Nice.
The other card is for a friend [...]

I’m normally not a gal who runs after all the blog candy out there, but I just happened upon this blog and the things this girl does with a card and some vintage images are AMAZING! Wow. Anyway, she has some great blog candy to give away and here’s a link to it.
Ciao!
Check out this fab blog candy!

It’s been a lazy weekend as far as scrapping is concerned. I’ve had an icky sore throat and a cough to boot and it has been all I could do to care for the kiddos. Anyway, feeling a little better this evening so I made this LO for the sketch challenge on Creative Scrappers. Talk [...]

I made this card for a friend’s baby boy, who turns one in a few days. The bear holding the arrow is hand drawn and cut out and then sponged with Ranger’s distress inks. The number 1 is also hand cut and sponged. The arrow says “Lucas is turning” . The gatefold card is made [...]

What a lovely sketch they had this week over on Splitcoast! This card came together super fast and I’m pretty pleased with it too!
I was able to use all scraps for this card and I don’t know where the darker patterned paper is from, but the lighter one is Paper Salon. The cardstock is purple [...]

I am still working on my daughter’s baby album and I am thinking that this might be the title page. I haven’t decided yet, but this is one of my favorite photos of her as a newborn. I have only 10 finished pages, and about 15-20 more pages in the planning stage. I had [...]

I found some time yesterday to make a card for the Splitcoast sketch challenge and although it was a bit rushed, I had so, so, so much fun making this! Since I had no intended purpose for the card I allowed myself to experiment, I really should do that more often. The result may not [...]
